JOB LOCATION

This is on ON-SITE position located in SOMIS, CA.

HOURS

Must be able to start work between 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. 

COMPENSATION

$104,500 - $157,000 / year, Exempt, with a discretionary bonus of up to 10%

ABOUT THE ROLE

Sensei Ag is hiring a Maintenance Manager responsible for developing, implementing and leading the maintenance program at our state-of-the-art greenhouse technology testing site.  This role includes managing a small team, overseeing facility and equipment maintenance and ensuring operational excellence for maintenance, quality, health and safety, environmental safety and product safety. The Maintenance Manager will develop and manage the long-term maintenance strategy, and be committed to achieving excellence in maintenance, quality, health and safety, environment, and product safety. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and a proactive, continuous improvement mindset. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design and implement site-wide preventative and corrective maintenance program for newly constructed high-tech greenhouse testing facility. 
• Ensure alignment with long-term operational goals and compliance with health, safety and environmental standards. 
• Hire, train and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and contractors. 
• Build strong relationships with vendors, service providers and internal stakeholders. 
• Schedule and prioritize routine and seasonal maintenance tasks for the greenhouse, supporting buildings, and site infrastructure (including utilities, landscaping, and security systems). 
• Maintain accurate documentation including standard operating procedures, permits, maintenance records, inventory logs, and training manuals.  
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.  
• Lead the planning of seasonal maintenance to ensure critical and non-critical equipment is serviced or repaired. 
• Manage the site maintenance management software. 
• Support business improvement projects and other duties and task that may be requested by supervisor.
