Accountant - ZR_23970_JOB

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts
  

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  

• Manage payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
  

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  

• Support tax filing preparation and liaise with external CPAs if needed
  

• Monitor cash flow and report on financial health
  

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and best practices
  

• Maintain documentation and filing systems for audit readiness
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  

• 3+ years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping roles
  

• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, Excel)
  

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and U.S. accounting standards
  

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  

• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience working with U.S.-based companies
  

• Familiarity with payroll systems and tax filings
  

• CPA certification (a plus, but not required)
