About this role

We are hiring an experienced individual contributor Finance professional, who executes financial plans, evaluates and recommends financial processes and standards, and analyzes financial indicators to forecast performance measures. Maintains relationships with external financial consultants and advisors, and provides technical expertise and advice to functional managers on various financial matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Lead internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional development.
• Ensure compliance with tax reporting requirements and assist with filings as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to support business operations and strategic initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA is preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
