Leopardo Construction is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to join our in-house marketing team. The Marketing Communications Manager is a critical role within Leopardo’s full-service, in-house marketing team. This individual is responsible for producing clear, concise, and compelling written content that supports business development, corporate communications, and strategic marketing efforts. The Marketing Communications Manager will work cross-functionally with senior leadership, business development and project teams to create tailored content that effectively communicates Leopardo’s value proposition to clients and stakeholders as well as work directly with the Vice President of Marketing on internal communications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create clear, persuasive copy for marketing materials, websites, presentations, and social media to support Leopardo’s brand image and marketing strategy.
- Write press releases, announcements, and other external communications to promote company news and project wins.
- Collect, edit, and launch Leopardo’s weekly internal newsletters in collaboration with department heads and content contributors.
- Coordinate thought leadership production with third-party outlets such as Bisnow and The Real Deal.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure content speaks to client needs and adheres to company brand standards.
- Develop and write engaging, technically accurate content for RFP responses, including cover letters, executive summaries, project writeups, and team resumes.
- Coordinate annual project awards submissions across all Leopardo markets and geographies
- Manage Leopardo’s online brand presence by auditing and updating company bios across websites and business listings.
- Assist senior leadership with maintaining and updating professional CVs, biographies, and online profiles, such as LinkedIn.
- Review and edit all written content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, and consistency.
- Ensure all materials reflect Leopardo’s brand voice and messaging standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a proposal writer, marketing writer, or technical writer in an architecture, engineering, or construction management firm.
- Thorough understanding of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries, with experience writing about construction processes, project management, and technical subjects.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to simplify complex technical information and communicate it in a clear, compelling way.
- Powerful storytelling skills to convey project narratives and company values.
- Interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams, subject matter experts, and leadership to gather information and produce high-quality materials.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as Mailchimp.
- Experience with graphic design or layout software (e.g., InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
