About the role

The Integrated Data Sciences team within Seattle Children’s Therapeutics (SCTx) is seeking an experienced biostatistician to join our innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on groundbreaking first-in-human clinical trials, leveraging the latest advancements in medicine and data science. SCTx is a unique organization that bridges Seattle Children’s Hospital and Research Institute, accelerating the development of new cures for children.

As a Senior Biostatistician, you will provide expertise and leadership across all stages of early-phase clinical trials. Your contributions will be pivotal in shaping the future of pediatric medicine. Working independently and spend the majority of time consulting, designing, coordinating and performing statistical analyses. Coordinate and direct data-oriented projects. Participate as Senior Statistician on clinical studies and/or methodological research which includes: study design and protocol development; senior statistical oversight throughout the course of the study; and preparation of methods sections for grant submissions and manuscripts.

  

Required Education and Experience
Masters degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Public Health or related field. Minimum of eight (8) years related experience or PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics with six (6) years related experience. Clinical study related experience. Statistical Project Management experience. Statistical computing experience using Splus, R, SASA and/or Stata. Statistical computing experience including the development of new statistical programs and software.

Required Credentials

Preferred
Experience as a project or study team leader. Consulting experience in statistical design or clinical trials.

Compensation Range

$139,486.00 - $209,228.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
