Team & Role

Global Cloud Services PgM Team

The Global Cloud Services PgM Team serves the program delivery needs of the engineering and operations orgs within the larger Global Cloud Services organization.  The program portfolio includes a broad set of initiatives from cross-functional service delivery, cloud infrastructure lifecycle and delivery, operationalization, process improvement, and portfolio management.  Our program managers work closely with team and org leadership to surface data, extract technical decisions and drive execution of programs.

Cloud Infrastructure and Networking Technical Program Managers are technically minded individuals with experience in driving solutions to the complex problems inherent in the design deployment and maintenance of enterprise cloud infrastructure.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Work directly with our global cloud capacity and networking organizations to manage the execution of programs
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, able to apply PMO governance standards in partnership with technical stakeholders and technical leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of the program management function. Share back successful practices, frameworks, tools, and lessons learned that have worked in your Program.
  • Ensure transparency, alignment and clear communication of program status and overall resourcing across the portfolio to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leads challenging, innovative and productive conversations to solve critical challenges in both strategic and tactical circumstances
  • Models change agent behavior by coaching others to solicit buy-in, promote and communicate new scalable solutions to improve execution processes across our organization and beyond.
  • Educates cross-functional peers about their discipline and advocates for its value
  • Actively shares knowledge and expertise with others to ensure diversity and inclusion with the goal of elevating colleagues, teams, and community of practice
  • Ability to influence without authority, utilizing technical know-how and experience with industry best practices
  • Experience working on and managing large projects or programs with cross-functional and tactical teams
  • Deliver solutions and strategies while mitigating or removing obstacles
  • Experience utilizing software to keep projects organized, track metrics, and report on progress
  • Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, SAFE certifications preferred

 

Basic Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge on network concepts, cloud frameworks, and data center infrastructure
