This Summer Internship is from May/June through August 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.

Our Team:
We are Sony Pictures Television’s core team focused on strategy, business development, and operational excellence. The team works closely with Sony’s diverse lines of business and other corporate functions to build growth strategies, design financial/operating models, and implement change management plans. The team drives change through strategic recommendations with thoughtful research and analysis, business model design, process reengineering, and program management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Use effective data visualization, research, and analysis to assist the team’s strategic recommendations
Complete 1-2 internship-length business strategy projects from inception to completion
Support Business Development & Operations colleagues with additional initiatives as they arise
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 3-4 years of pre-MBA experience - ideally a combination of corporate strategy, management consulting and/or investment banking
Highly curious – willing to look beyond the surface level to identify the key questions & hypotheses needed to solve problems and develop recommendations
Creative & critical thinker
Strong background with data (collection, cleaning, & analysis) and Excel modeling
Excellent PowerPoint skills – able to design and own PowerPoint decks independently
Excellent communication skills – able to convey complex ideas and analyses succinctly and persuasively to influence C-level executives
The anticipated base salary for this position is $37/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits.
