What does a Facilities Maintenance Technician at Swire Coca-Cola do?
As a facilities maintenance tech, you will be responsible for the effective care of the manufacturing facility and associated property to maintain compliance of all City, County, and State ordinances and codes including Coca-Cola's KORE standards. This position is also responsible for conducting regular inspections and executing planned and unplanned maintenance activities in support of the manufacturing facility and associated property.
Job Details:
Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm Mon - Fri, (OT and Weekends as needed)

Responsibilities
• Maintenance and repair of HVAC systems and their associated controls by use hand powered tools, meters and tools to keep climate controlled and maintain safe air quality
• Unclog lines, repair faucets, install and repair piping, installation maintenance of other plumbing devices throughout the facility to keep plumbing infrastructure properly functioning.
• Repair, replace and maintain facility electrical systems by checking and replacing wires, fuses, lighting systems, circuits, and transformers in AC and DC as well as high or low voltage.
• Weld, repair and build CO2 racks, protective devices, forklifts, structures and any other projects through use of either stick welding or mig welding systems
• Operation of construction equipment & large vehicles for maintaining external grounds including relocating heavy items such as steel & equipment, plowing snow, mowing fields, and general construction projects for employee safety, property up-keep and business process functioning
• Check, replace and maintain human safety systems included but not limited to fire alarms, sprinkler systems, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, close circuit television systems and building automation systems for human safety and to protect the facility.
• Install, repair, build and administer access control to lock systems, including cutting keys, keying locks and replacing batteries to secure property and human safety.
• Building maintenance including replaces carpet tiles, painting, dry wall repair, surface coatings and roofing.
• Maintaining records of maintenance activities, equipment, and repairs
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
• High School Diploma (or GED) or equivalent degree required
• 2-4 years facilities or maintenance experience required
• Past experience with HVAC systems and/or plumbing systems required
• Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in at least one of the following areas: Mechanical, electrical, HVAC, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, or engine repair preferred
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance, engine repair, etc. preferred
• Ability to fully operate hand held diagnostic tools
• Ability open and use Excel, Adobe PDF Reader, Outlook and Word
• Ability to read architectural drawings
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the busine
