Quality Technician – Hourly – Irving, TX

Job Description:

• Performs final inspection audits to customer requirements and SDI industry standards
• Maintain and complete inspection records. 
• Conducts layered process and other internal manufacturing audits
• Record quality defects and reports deficiencies
• Read and understand mechanical prints
• Check production work orders for clarity and verify quality against actual product
• Working knowledge of developing work instructions and control plans
• Analyze and support improvements for scrap and rework through corrective actions o Communicates with manufacturing, order entry or other departments to resolve issues

What you need to succeed:

• 3+ years’ experience in quality or related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Strong organization and attention to detail skills along with the ability to hand multiple projects at once

Requirements:

• Must be able to use calipers, squares, and tape measure
• Must be able to use software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Teams
• Ability read mechanical drawings
• Written and oral communication skills
• Must be available for overtime when necessary

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

• The expected Base Hourly Range: $18.00-$22.00. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
