JOB POSITION  : CUSTOMER TRAINER - SAFETY 

 

JOB SUMMARY:     

The Safety Trainer spends the majority of his/her time giving safety instruction in a classroom and lab environment. The Safety Trainer works with other colleagues to develop instructional material to meet the changing demands of the business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach Internal and Customer Safety training courses.
• Assist in developing additional Safety Training as needed to meet Business and Customer Requirements
• Administer assessments over the material presented.
• Evaluate performance in classroom as well as lab activities.
• Provide feedback to managers as well as Customers.
• Provide feedback to Region Americas Technical Training Department regarding specific training that may be required within the Region.
• Serve as a resource for Safety questions originating from the field.
• Complete various clerical duties related to student performance reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the crane industry as a service technician preferred.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Trade school degree (or equivalent education or field experience) in an industrial subject. It is preferred that the candidate have a solid working knowledge of industrial electricity.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to travel internationally, locally and outside the service area for operational requirements & training when necessary.
• 25% Travel required.
