Key Responsibilities

The Director of Field Services provides enterprise leadership and full P&L responsibility for Emerald Transformer’s Field Services and Field Decommission departments. This role sets strategy, standardizes work, and ensures safe, high‑quality, on‑time, and profitable delivery across both departments. The Director will be co-responsible for Sales and Business Development working with the company’s sales leaders to deliver an excellent customer experience while achieving revenue, margin, utilization, and safety targets.
  • Define and execute the multi‑year strategy and annual operating plan (AOP), including revenue, gross margin, utilization, TRIR, and backlog targets by region and service line.
  • Responsible for revenue growth and sales.
  • Own forecasting, budgeting, and capacity planning for labor, fleet, tooling, materials, and subcontractors; balance resources across Field Services and Field Decommission to meet demand.
  • Establish, standardize, and continuously improve field procedures, work instructions, risk assessments, and checklists for all service offerings (commissioning/start‑ups, testing/maintenance, repairs, retrofill/oil handling, and decommission).
