Job Description

As a member of the AI Enterprise Infrastructure team, you will work collaboratively with technology groups to conceive, design, engineer, and implement key data, software and infrastructure that supports the work of employees across AbbVie via AbbVie’s Enterprise AI platform. You’ll investigate, identify, and implement state-of-the-art technology platforms and develop productive collaborations and communications with other groups across multiple disciplines. You will have the chance to deliver secure and scalable solutions that empower employees to leverage cutting-edge AI in all facets of our work, from drug discovery and R&D to manufacturing, software development, and more. Responsibilities

• Design and implement data engineering solutions, define schemas, and establish standards for products on AbbVie’s Enterprise AI platform.  Routinely demonstrate initiative and creativity in developing technology solutions.
• Contribute to the development of distributed batch and real-time data infrastructure as part of a collaborative agile team
• Serve as a technical expert or lead projects/programs and technical staff to develop, test and implement significant new products or improvements.
• Analyze and resolve technical problems
• Contribute to advancement of own function by studying state-of-the-art tools, techniques, and computing equipment
• Demonstrate high proficiency across a wide range of technologies related to software development, data ingestion/processing, data storage, distributed systems, and cloud environments.
