Purpose/Introduction

The Business Services Group within the Global Supply Chain Organization is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Pricing Account Coordinator/Marketing Aide at HQ in The Woodlands, TX. This individual will provide support for our Specialties Division, including Specialty Chemicals, Aromatics, Styrenics and NAO/PAO.

This candidate should be a self-starter, a team player, adaptable, an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Sales, Product Managers, and Customer Service Teams within multiple business units
- Manage the pricing interface between Vendavo software program and SAP
- Process and monitor invoicing for accuracy and timely distribution for domestic customers
- Set up rebate accruals and reconcile at the end of the accrual period
- Perform monthly close activities including invoicing, completing credit/debit requests, and working with Customer Account Coordinators to ensure business units are closed timely
- Maintain Customer Master Profiles in SAP, output documentation, and invoicing
- Generate weekly status reports to review pricing, open orders, over/short pays, etc.

- Invoice railcar demurrage/Rail Detention
- Review/Publish/Approve Price Quotes through the Vendavo pricing system
- Work with internal and external customers on product returns, collections, cancellations, short pays, and sample requests
- Process Credit and Debit Memos in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and pricing records
- Provide back-up support for two other Marketing Aides within the team
- Work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced team environment
- Manage the distribution of various electronic trade publications utilized by the organization
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or a minimum of four years of customer service, or accounts payable/receivable or equivalent experience
- Vendavo pricing software experience a plus
- SAP (Sales & Distribution) experience highly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Working knowledge of basic accounting practices
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic is a must
- Must be dependable, self-starter, strong team player, and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
- Must be able to work in a team environment and provide back-up coverage when teammate is out of office
