Senior Financial Crime Analyst

We are building a diverse team of inquisitive people who want to understand customer needs and behaviour so we can develop innovative products that change people’s lives for good.</p><ul><p><br/></p></ul><p><strong>Here's what you will be doing:</strong></p><ul> <li>Manage and work complex AML/CTF and fraud investigations from end to end, including the submission of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). Investigate transaction monitoring alerts to identify suspicious activity.</li> <li>Investigate sanction/PEP/adverse media alerts.</li> <li>Liaise with other financial institutions and law enforcement authorities.</li> <li>Proactively identify financial crime trends through data analysis and develop robust mitigation.</li> <li>Support the optimisation and update of existing processes, systems and procedures.</li> <li>Liaise with other business departments and act as a subject matter expert on Financial Crime topics.</li> <li>Support with delivering counter financial crime training and onboarding new team members.</li> <li>Handle escalations from the Customer Service team and provide practical advice on required actions.</li> <li>Managing and prioritising a varied workload whilst adhering to SLAs.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>You’ll need to have: </strong></p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Counter Financial Crime function</li> <li>Complex investigations experience</li> <li>Exposure to counter financial crime systems and intelligence tools</li> <li>Transactional monitoring experience</li> <li>Working knowledge of Financial Crime and AML regulations</li> <li>A cooperative character and you enjoy working as part of a dynamic team</li> </ul> <p><strong>You’ll have an advantage if you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have worked in a start-up</li> <li>Experience delivering counter financial crime training </li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>What we offer you:</strong></p>● 35 total days holiday (25 annual leave, 8 bank holidays, 1 Kroo bank holiday [June 24th],<br/>and 1 day off during the week of your birthday)<br/>● 3 personal health days<br/>● An employer-sponsored volunteer programme (up to 4 hours per month supported by our<br/>partner Matchable)<br/>● Access to Spill, our mental health support partner<br/>● A workplace pension, with 5% employee contribution and a 3% employer top off<br/>● After 1 year of service, access to £500 from the Kroo Learning Fund for career-related<br/>L&amp;D<br/>● All equipment you need to work remotely effectively, with a Mac laptop as standard<br/>● Access to our modern, bustling office in Manchester<br/>● Access to our Cycle to Work scheme<br/>● Access to our Electric Car scheme<br/>● An enhanced parental leave policy<br/>● Room to grow and excel within a fast-paced, high growth start-up<p></p><p><strong>Office/remote working:</strong></p><p>Working remotely has changed many of our lives for the better and we are behind continuing the benefits of flexibility. We have a beautiful office in Holborn, which, when used for the right things, can be a useful and powerful tool. Currently, we see a blended model of working 1-2 days a week in the office, so candidates that are able to travel in occasionally are the best fit for our current working practices. Please note: Our ambition is to be a truly 24/7 customer-focused bank.
