Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. First to deliver the best imaging and classification data for every defect or point on any layer at any time. EBeam’s mission encapsulates its role as the “eyes” of KLA’s product line, providing timely information on defects and critical locations on the wafer at the highest spatial resolution possible. Customers use EBeam products alongside KLA patterned and bare wafer inspectors to quickly understand the nature of defects and other imperfections on product wafers and take action to correct the manufacturing process.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader for a cross-functional program manager role. The role is based in Milpitas focused on development & continuous improvement of eBeam system.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead a cross functional team through product definition phase, development, pilot, HVM and the sustain phases of PLC.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, service & marketing stakeholders to define optimal definition & trade-offs.
  • Be accountable for all aspects of their program – engineering, service, install, mfg
  • Act as a subject matter expert in operational processes or technical leadership offer guidance and support to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with customers. Understand their needs and expectations to ensure project outcomes consistently meet or exceed requirements
  • Proactively identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle. Implement effective mitigation strategies to safeguard deliverables. Provide recommendations to leadership team on risks and mitigation efforts.
  • During the beta phase drive the field engagement process, which will require alignment with the business units and our customers.
  • Internalize divisional goals and strategic priorities to help define product roadmap.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing multi-disciplinary systems combining optics, electronics, motion, Algo and SW
  • Prove track record of teamwork and team lead in a matrix structure
  • Articulate written and verbal communication skills
  • Open to up to 15% global travel

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 5 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 12 years

Base Pay Range: $180,000.00 - $306,000.00 Annually
