As a Sr Specialist II, Production, you will bring advanced production expertise to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can independently solve complex operational challenges, improve quality and productivity, and help teams execute work with precision and accountability.

 

What You'll Do

  • Apply deep production knowledge to independently perform the full range of responsibilities within your area of expertise, translating theory into practical solutions that support operational performance.
  • Operate complex machines, equipment, and systems while adjusting processes to improve quality, productivity, and reliability.
  • Identify and resolve complex inefficiencies by using sound judgment, technical expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Support quality assurance by helping develop quality procedures and standards, certifying technological processes, qualifying products, supervising tests, and tracking defects or trends.
  • Monitor health, safety, and environmental performance against key indicators, recognize patterns, and take action to improve performance or address noncompliance with policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose highly complex equipment and systems, support emergency repairs, lead major equipment rebuilds, and guide planned installation of complex systems.
  • Develop medium- and long-term work schedules, coordinate across multiple teams, align priorities with business goals, and reduce bottlenecks that can slow execution.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with different audiences, keep stakeholders informed, and support internal communications for significant work activities with guidance from senior colleagues.

 

What You'll Bring - Required

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 10 or more years of broad and deep production, operations, quality, maintenance, or related technical experience providing expert-level competence
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Advanced proficiency in health and safety practices, including safe systems of work, HSE requirements
  • Must be willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to comply with the following:
    • Travel up to 5%
    • Operate company vehicle on site premises and/or public roads up to 25%
    • Work extended hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, and perform occasional duties.
    • Transport articles up to 50 pounds
    • Climb ladders and stairs up to 200 feet
    • Work safely near large, hot, high-speed machines, around chemicals and hydrocarbons under high pressure and heat, and in harsh weather conditions.
    • Wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment.
    • Maintain face daily for proper respirator/face mask seal. (some examples include being free of facial hair and/or clean shaven)

 

What Makes You Stand Out - Preferred

  • Experience leading major equipment rebuilds, planned installations, or complex production system improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, maintain accountability, and deliver commitments in challenging operating environments
  • Experience optimizing work processes, integrating systems, reducing bottlenecks, and encouraging continuous improvement and quality outcomes
  • Strong ability to manage complex information, evaluate problems from multiple angles, identify root causes, and determine practical solutions
  • Experience using quality management software, testing tools, compliance reporting tools, or related technologies to identify, track, and resolve defects
  • Knowledge of ComplyALIGN, quality control chart analysis, Six Sigma analysis, error detection and correction, or test case development
  • Advanced attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy, thoroughness, and consistency while working independently and guiding others
  • Experience monitoring, interpreting, and applying policies and procedures in alignment with organizational strategies and work objectives
  • Full competence in maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing machines, equipment, and related hardware
  • Advanced ability to operate, set up, adjust, and optimize production equipment, plant assets, and materials
  • Advanced quality assurance capability, including QA principles, QA processes and practices, testing methodologies, compliance reporting, and defect resolution
