About the role

Context of the Role

Reporting to the Head of People Business Partnering, the People Business Partner is responsible for supporting the implementation of the company’s HR strategy. They serve as a key enforcer of sound HR procedures and ensure their effective execution.

You will play a vital role in defining, validating, steering, and deploying our HR policies to align resources with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy global HR processes at the local level, ensuring compliance with regional legislation and cultural considerations across North and South America.
  • Identify and develop talent across the organization while implementing performance management and development initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day HR solutions, leveraging your expertise in employment law.
  • Support managers in employee relations matters, team development, and organizational planning.
  • Actively contribute to broader global HR projects as needed.
  • Support and facilitate effective change implementation, considering legal and social impacts while identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Working closely with our Shared Service Centre team on topics such as Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Total Rewards etc.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR business partnering role.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, international environment with cross-border labor relations.
  • Solid knowledge of labor law and dispute resolution, particularly across America
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong asset.
  • Innovative, forward-thinking, and results-oriented.
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly develop expertise in international labor law.
  • Independent and able to manage pressure and shifting priorities effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Technologically proficient, with strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
