Our customer base is growing and so is our product line in the Defence business area. As part of this growth journey, Systematic is estabishing a new Software Development centre in the heart of Copenhagen. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project and People Manager to join our team and be responsible for hiring and building our new SitaWare Insight team in Copenhagen. As an early member of our team in Copenhagen, you will get a unique opportunity to influence the focus and quality of our product, while shaping the direction of the Copenhagen office.

 

Make your mark on our growth journey
As a Project and People Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects, ensuring their successful completion within scope, schedule, and budget. You will have the people leadership for your teams including enabling continuous professional development of the teams, driving performance and success. Your teams will be responsible for improving and maintaining a dedicated sub-set of the overall product, both existing and new functional areas. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across our Aarhus and Bucharest locations to deliver high-quality projects that meet customer requirements. 
In addition to that, some of your key tasks will be to: 

• Build and lead a high-performing scrum team of 8+ members that lives the Systematic values and foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture. 
• Challenge employees to grow and live their full potential while having fun.
• Together with the teams, plan the next iteration and establish conditions for the teams to fulfil the goals.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements within the teams and across the program.

 

Experienced leader able to empower people and deliver on projects
To succeed in this role, you have significant experience with Project Management and a proven track record of successfully managing software development projects from conception to delivery based on agile principles. You are an experienced people manager with the ability to build, develop and motivate teams. It is natural for you to take ownership and set a clear direction in close collaboration with various stakeholders to enable teams to deliver high quality projects.   
You have; 

• A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and experience from the IT-industry
• Qualifications comparable to PMI/PMP, PRINCE2 or similar
• Proven experience (5+ years) in Project Management within complex software development companies
• Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style.
