Senior Systems Administrator

What you’ll be doing:
Managing Linux and Windows server configurations
Troubleshooting production issues and identifying opportunities for performance optimization
Software application deployments
Site reliability engineering
Cloud & IT system modernization
Continuously improving products through enhanced observability and continuous monitoring, and robust and meaningful log analytics
Creating CI/CD pipelines
Managing AWS services with IaC
Orchestrating containerized services
Increasing productivity of IT and business teams
Accelerating the pace of delivery
Saving costs on infrastructure, operations, and maintenance
Continuously evaluating and enhancing the project's security stance
Required Qualifications
Active Department of Defense Top Secret (or higher) security clearance
Ten or more years’ experience in information technology, with a strong focus on system administration, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps
Three or more years of experience:
o Containerizing workloads with docker
o Kubernetes
o Deploying, testing, and monitoring applications in AWS
o Log centralization experience (e.g., Elastic Stack, Splunk, CloudWatch Logs, etc.)
Five or more years’ experience:
o Creating and maintaining building/deploying pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeBuild/Deploy, Travis, etc.)
o Operating in CI/CD environments
o Working on Agile teams
o Git-based version control
Desired Qualifications
AWS certificates (preferably System Administrator and DevOps Professional)
Experience with security compliance frameworks such as FISMA and DISA STIGs
Expertise in Linux and Windows server administration, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, including experience managing AWS services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Expertise in container orchestration and management, particularly Docker and Kubernetes
Deep expertise in networking concepts, including network segmentation, traffic routing, subnetting, security groups, and secure network design to enhance system performance, security
