US SOCOM Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Support

Caladwich Consulting is seeking a Inventory Management Technician to assist in the coordination and professional oversight of the transition of SOFSA inventory material into the DPAS Warehouse Module. This technician will also draft policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Desk Top Procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversees the inventory support team in all technical, administrative and training functions. 

• Coordinate with Task Force DPAS on the conversion of SOF legacy supply and/or inventory management applications to DPAS Warehouse, M&U and Material Management modules

• Supervise the accountable record for material and retain inventory balances and document changes in balances per the direction of the government Inventory Manager.

• Implement the warehouse material receiving functions to include but not limited to documenting daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory levels.

• Verify supporting documentation and data integrity and identify any need for reconciliation of inventory to the APSR.

• Manages detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels and adjustments.   

• Manages, plans and executes team inventories schedules which may include the use of formal, informal, item-by item, or group inventory methods and using manual or automated inventory systems. 

• Analyzes the inventory levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages and excess material in 

• coordination with the DPAS ICP Team. 

• Conducts causative research and analysis associated with daily managing of inventory accepted into DPAS.

Requirements

Qualifications / Required Experience:

• Working knowledge of Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Warehouse, and Materiel Management modules all Special Operation Forces’ supply support activities.

• High-level proficiency in PowerPoint Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and MS Office 365.

• Proficient in strategic communications: working with internal and external customers to provide recommendations for a way forward that would include implementation at the organization level once approved by Government stakeholders within the outlined functional areas below.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize.

• Prepares detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels and recommended adjustments.

Other Requirements:

• Associate's degree required in logistics or business-related field 

• Minimum 3 years of combined experience with DoD or other federal agency in Financial Management, Program Management, IT, Material Management or Logistics, Including:

        o Minimum 6 months experience in LIS DAU Lifecycle Logistics Level I certified 

• Secret Clearence Required

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Must be able to pass background investigations including a FBI fingerprint check and a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI) adjudication.
