Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with industry-standard tools, languages and methodologies relevant to the development of silicon-based ICs and chips.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with common Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.
- Knowledge of object oriented programming.
- Ability to write and understand SystemVerilog register transfer level (RTL) code.
- Excellent software skills and design practices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000-$158,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Own chip development workflows such as integration, or source control and review.
- Create software solutions that improve the hardware design process through automation.
- Work with Chip teams on projects, prototype and then deploy tools to make a positive impact on Google's chip hardware development methodology.
- Develop CAD solutions including flow automation, dashboarding, and writing documentation.
