Who we are

Welcome to the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (CVM). What we want  

The Program Director, under general direction, directs the administration of assigned programs, including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities.

Salary: will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience.

Other: Must maintain participation in the VET deployment health and fitness qualification program administered by the Biosafety and Occupational Health Program.

Qualifications

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ten years of experience in logistics, deployment, emergency response or related areas.

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Must have a Class A or B driver’s license or ability to obtain one within six months of employment. Must be able to handle multiple equipment types (Box truck, Gooseneck and bumper pull trailers, and a forklift).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field.

• Two years of experience in a first responder medical or veterinary medical organization.

• Experience managing first responder equipment.

• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with emergency management reimbursement process.

• Familiarity with emergency management accountability procedures.
