General Notes
This is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding. Some travel within the state of Texas required. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
Purpose
This position will be responsible for conducting outreach activities for Fort Cavazos for a Department of Defense funded research study within the Institute for Military and Veteran Family Wellness (IMVFW).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct outreach activities to support study recruitment by attending events, presenting at meetings and briefings and working closely with military personnel.
- Identify and coordinate outreach activities through communication and meetings with military leadership.
- Communicate with study team through regular meetings and correspondence about outreach.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of experience in administration support positions, or related job experience. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Values the contributions of others in the work environment. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
More than required years of experience in administration support positions, or related job experience. Awareness of Military Culture.
Salary Range
$50,000 (Prorated: $25,000)
Working Conditions
May work around standard office conditions
Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
Some travel within the state of Texas required
Work Shift
M-F, Flexible between 8am-6pm
