JOB TITLE: Intern Business Undergraduate

 

JOB SUMMARY

Under direct supervision, supports business related projects and processes.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Performs planned work to accomplish project goals and provide experience and familiarization with business

processes, independent thinking, and company practices and policies.

• Communicates frequently with co-workers, customer, or vendors to discuss information or issues related to material

properties and to clarify or obtain additional detailed information.

• Assists in developing solutions to routine and non-routine problems of moderate complexity; interprets, executes and

recommends modifications to operating policies where appropriate.

• Assists with analyzing data and produces reports or summaries as necessary within area of expertise.

• Assists in accurate data entry into computer databases or company files.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: Some college.

• Knowledge required to perform at this level is generally acquired by Undergraduate student pursuing degree in a business discipline.

 

Experience: No prior experience required

Skills

• Ability to apply general business concepts and processes to support department or company projects.

• Ability to analyze problems, contribute to decisions, and assist in the design and implementation of solutions to resolve business issues that are moderate in complexity.

• Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

-Or an equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of these qualifications may be considered.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting, up to 20 pounds.

Target Pay Range:  $20.00 to $25.00 -  Hourly pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
