About the Internship Opportunity

As an IT Intern with Securin, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment, working alongside experienced professionals who will guide you through various aspects of IT systems administration. You’ll be involved in activities such as managing IT helpdesk tickets, assisting with server and desktop troubleshooting, and supporting cloud environments.

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an IT Intern to support our expanding IT infrastructure. Based in our Albuquerque, NM headquarters, this role will evolve with the company’s growth and the scaling of our infrastructure. As an intern, you’ll perform a blend of basic IT helpdesk tasks and systems administration support, working on a variety of tasks that range from simple password resets to assisting with server provisioning. This role is primarily internally focused, supporting employees with occasional direct interaction with customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Track, resolve, and document IT issues, ensuring all tickets are logged and completed within SLAs
• Set up, diagnose, and troubleshoot desktop computers, servers, cloud environments, and virtual machines
• Prioritize and manage multiple active issues simultaneously
• Document technical knowledge in notes and manuals
• Flexibility to work various shifts according to business needs
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail in troubleshooting technical issues

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with basic IT troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
