Job Description

Position Overview

The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) will provide support to the Chromalloy Arizona facility, which will include the development and deployment of HR (Human Resources) strategies in support of short term and long-term business goals. The incumbent must have a variety of experience, education, and “hand’s on” administration in all aspects of HR.

This role requires the incumbent to work in a collaborative manufacturing team environment and be a role model for the Site’s positive employee philosophy.

The HRG will be responsible for partnering with the HRBP to deliver support to a client group of approximately 260 employees with occasional support to other Chromalloy sites.

Incumbents are required to be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident per FAA requirements.

Essential Functions

The essential functions of this position are:

  • Ensures compliance with company HR guidelines, corporate guidelines as well as local, state, and federal laws.
  • Work with HRBP to create and implement key compliance programs by process mapping.
  • Assist HRBP with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new associates at the site.
  • Screens, coordinates, and conducts candidate interviews. 
  • Assist in driving and executing the site's Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) including the training and education of Hiring Managers
  • Responsible for record keeping related to new hires, employee reviews, promotions, transfers, separations, etc.
  • Assists with administering, monitoring and providing counsel on mid-year and annual performance review program, in a timely and consistent manner, to ensure compliance, effectiveness, and standardization within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (required)
  • 3+ years of manufacturing HR experience or recruiting experience (required)
  • HR Certification: PHR, SHRM-CP, similar (preferred)
