What You’ll Do

Join Hanover Foods as a Plant Sanitation team member on the 3rd Shift and help ensure the cleanliness and safety of our freezer operations. This role is essential to maintaining high standards in a specialized environment, with opportunities for skill development and career growth. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Clean and Sanitize: Maintain the cleanliness of food processing equipment and production areas in the freezer facility, adhering to USDA standards.
• Support Operations: Perform various tasks, including trash hauling, waste removal, and janitorial services tailored to freezer operations.
• Inspect and Report: Identify and report any mechanical or safety concerns to your Supervisor or Leadperson promptly.
• Follow Safety Guidelines: Wear appropriate protective gear and adhere to safety protocols in a cold environment.
• Operate Equipment: Safely handle forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and industrial lifts (training provided).
• Stay Active: Engage in a hands-on role that includes lifting and moving items up to 100 lbs.
• Maintain Hygiene Standards: Support plant hygiene and food safety protocols to ensure high product quality.
• Learn and Grow: Gain valuable skills and develop expertise in sanitation and freezer operations.
• Train and Lead: Once experienced, help train new team members to ensure smooth operations.

Must-Have Skills

• Basic math skills for tracking and recording data.
• Ability to work independently in a freezer environment.
• Reliable attendance and a commitment to safe work habits.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Nice-to-Have Skills
