Job Description
Responsible for the support, maintenance and automating of existing management reporting systems and processes.
Will be involved in various project including identifies and analyzes business needs, conducts requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives, design, developing and testing new management reporting systems and processes.
This position will require some off-hours On-Call Support for the management reporting system and our AWS ecosystem.
Work is typically performed under limited guidance
Primary function could include some of the following:
• Monitor and validate the nightly month end process to insure all process completed successfully with data accuracy.
• Querying and analyzing financial data from our Oracle database.
• Debugging of failed process and procedures in PL/SQL and Python
• Creating new Oracle objects and procedures in PL/SQL and Python
• Redesign, development and maintain our documentation information system
• Support our AWS Ecosystem and Financial Reporting Systems and processes
• Participate in on-call rotation, providing support as needed
The position requires strong technical skills in SQL and Python
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, CS, Statistics, Math, Accounting, Finance or Economics, or equivalent work experience
- Typically, four to six years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Required Knowledge or Skill in PL/SQL for Oracle
- Required Knowledge or Skill in Python
- Requires excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deliver results on aggressive deadline.
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Well-developed analytical skills
- Thorough knowledge of financial systems and analysis
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
- Thorough knowledge of various computer applications, programming, hardware, software, microcomputers, and systems design

The role offers a hub schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
