Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. You will be able to build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats
Responsibilities:
- Use DevSecOps to accelerate enterprise cloud adoption while enabling rapid and stable delivery of capabilities using continuous integration and continuous deployment principles, methodologies, and technologies
- Identify, prototype, engineer, and deploy emerging software engineering methodologies and tools
- Automate and enhance DevSecOps pipelines and other tasks
- Define and promote enterprise software engineering and DevSecOps standards, practices, and behaviors
- Operate and support a suite of enterprise DevSecOps services
Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics. Fifteen years’ experience in designing and implementing information management systems may substitute for academic degree.
- Minimum Ten years’ experience designing and implementing information management systems.
- Minimum Three years' experience in technical research or development that enables continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
- Minimum Three years' experience in product development, to include direct control and responsibility over subordinate developers working the development of a web-based, as well as data intensive system.
- Minimum Three years' experience with provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevOps and/or continuous delivery environment using automated deployment and testing frameworks.
- Minimum Three years' experience with commercial cloud service providers (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure or Google), containers, server-less architecture, micro-services, web services, and RESTful API design
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies
- Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and deliver to project deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:
- TS/SCI Clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
