Job Description:
We are a small but busy orthopedic practice seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist/Medical Assistant to join our collegial and fast-paced team. This role offers flexibility with a fairly predictable schedule, but some degree of flexibility (with advanced notice) is required. There is potential for growth and full-time employment as our practice plans to expand.

Responsibilities:

• Triaging patients, performing intake, and taking radiographs (10-25 per clinic)
• Uploading outside imaging and creating copies for medical records release requests
• Obtaining MRI and electrodiagnostic study reports
• Setting up for injections, casting, or in-office procedures
• Assisting in dressing and suture removal
• Assisting the surgeon during evaluations in the exam room
• Fitting patients for DME (Durable Medical Equipment)
• Turning over examination rooms between patients
• Clean up and preparation for the following day
• Assisting Clinical Coordinator with surgical packet preparation
• Assisting with supply inventory and orders
• Maintaining PACS system demographics
• Performing clerical tasks and scheduling as needed

Requirements

Requirements:

• RT or BMO certification
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Experience with EHR/PACS strongly preferred
