Job Description

We have an exciting growth opportunity for anyone looking to step into a leadership role at the forefront of building and managing a team within our ATE Operator group. In this role, you will be managing the Operator team to ensure projects, client expectations, and requirements are met.

Essential Job Functions:

• Establish and manage the timing of projects.
• Manage the development, validation, and modifications made to methods for client-specific project work.
• Supervise, execute, and communicate project results independently and/or through a group of technical employees.
• Allocates decision-making authority and/or task responsibility to others effectively
• Communicate with clients regarding work at regular intervals.
• Participate as a member of the Management Team designing and controlling company processes and achieving corporate goals.
• Applies standard and non-standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out a sequence of related tasks to meet clients’ testing needs.
• Follows established safety protocols and procedures at all times
• Follows the requirements of the Technology Control Plan at all times to ensure export control compliance
• Ensures compliance with quality system documents and processes
• Maintains specified records of test data and ensures Good Documentation Practices
• Protects confidential information and proprietary processes
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate will have a degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineer or related field OR equivalent industrial experience. To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills, must be a proficient communicator and listener, have excellent relationship-building skills, be able to handle multiple functions at the same time and maintain good organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time. 
• The person in this position needs to be able to move about inside the office or laboratory to access file cabinets, machinery, equipment, lift boxes, bend down etc.
• Ability to continuously operate a personal computer or lab equipment for extended periods of time (4 or more hours).
• Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other lab equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead or under tables
