In this role, you will:

Provides reliability tactical and some strategic leadership for processes and teams at the manufacturing site. This position is responsible for delivering a breakthrough step change in asset performance while driving costs down to world class levels through continuous improvement in close partnership with the Operations & Engineering team at the manufacturing site. This position leads the reliability personnel in developing the management infrastructure for maintenance including, Preventative Maintenance Optimization, Condition Based Monitoring, Daily Accountability processes, work management, and down management.

This position is responsible for establishing standards for the day-to-day tasks personnel associated with maintenance and reliability perform throughout the site and checking the execution of those standards to drive continuous improvement efforts in asset reliability. This work will have a direct impact on plant reliability leading to improved OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and greater ability to achieve other plant objectives like ATS (Adherence to Schedule).

In one of our Professional roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or relevant scientific discipline
  • 7+ years of equivalent related experience.
  • Significant experience in Engineering, Operations, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Maintenance. Lead and mentor Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Projects
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge in the technical areas of expertise described in the role
  • Incumbent would possess demonstrated ability to organize, influence and lead a multi-functional team and foster a proactive team environment without direct authority.
  • Will provide informal work direction and mentoring to plant personnel on reliability topics.
  • Experience in multiple mills, product systems and staff experience, along with leadership of a non-exempt workforce is highly desired
  • Experience with SAP is highly desired

Working Conditions

  • Normal scheduled hours will vary based on the need to support a 24/7 Operation
  • Flexibility to travel up to 15% for benchmarking and best practice sharing across KCNA
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
