MAJOR DUTIES:
NCC Automated Solutions is seeking a Buyer to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our supply chain. We are looking for individuals who are strategic thinkers, have a keen eye for identifying opportunities, and possess the confidence to lead complex negotiations. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for establishing high-value partnerships, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring the seamless flow of materials that drive our automation solutions. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Track, monitor, and maintain purchase order deliveries to drive on-time delivery.
- Source, qualify, and negotiate with suppliers
- Identify new opportunities for cost savings.
- Work with multiple departments within company to solve problems; engineering (drawing releases are accurate), planning, receiving (assuring accuracy of paperwork and products received), Quality (any non-conformance issues that need to be resolved)
- Address long lead-time components through Blanket Orders, Supplier stocking programs or pre-buys as applicable.
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings/schematics to understand the procurement and manufacturing requirements.
- Ownership of MRP related information.
- Send RFQ’s to obtain quotes, examine bids, and make awards.
- Sustain success metrics (OTD, PPV, Inventory MOH, etc), incorporating best practices, and effectively communicating improvements.
- Ability to operate independently with limited supervision, exercising sound judgement.
- End to End PO management.
- Participate and contribute to departmental and company-wide process improvements and lean initiatives.
- Effectively manage inventory levels of assigned commodities.
