What you will do:

  • Define and lead product marketing strategy including the practice area roadmap, priorities, tools, stakeholder collaboration process and metrics 
  • Develop and lead GTM research, development, planning, collaboration and campaign tracking
  • Define and scope lifecycle marketing including team roles, build out, tools and metrics 
  • Manage team of product and lifecycle marketing experts
  • Drive alignment across product, marketing, and sales
  • Work in partnership with key marketing teams including agency marketing, content and brand to drive successful campaign results 
  • Define and measure impact through OKRs and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Responsible for monitoring trends and competitors in the marketplace against current and future product offerings
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and drive marketing excellence within and outside of the company

What Cowbell needs from you:

  • 10+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in an insurance, tech and/or hypergrowth company
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience with insurance and key sales  distribution channels
  • Self-starter who is a consummate team player and driven to succeed
  • Ability to drive for results, deal with ambiguity, solve problems, drive decisions, see trends/patterns within data sets, and identify root causes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion, time management, strategic planning and analytical skills
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all rating and product activities
  • Ability to develop, present, and execute effective business plans and budgets to meet stated goals
  • A team player with experience building strong relationships both internally and externally, and with a strong sense of self-initiative and desire to succeed
  • Ability to develop credibility in unfamiliar environments; including agency partners, affinity prospects, regulators, senior leaders, and cross-functional project teams
  • Negotiation skills to resolve differences while maintaining positive working relationships
  • Proven leadership, influencing and negotiation skills in a highly matrixed environment
  • Proven ability to cultivate an active network of highly visible external relationships in order to meet business and strategic goals
