About the role

The Administrative Program Coordinator reports to the Administrative Operations Manager for the English Department in the School of Liberal Arts. The Administrative Program Coordinator supports the Creative Writing Program by planning, managing, promoting, and executing events, and serves as the staff liaison to related committees. The administrative tasks for this position consist of supporting the work of the Administrative Operations manager as needed for department operations, updating department website and creating relevant newsletters, answering the phone, assisting students and faculty, handling special registration, ordering supplies, and maintaining the office equipment.


Minimum Qualification:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud as well as the ability to learn other communication and design programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours for individual events.

• Experience managing budgets.
Preferred Qualification:
• College degree
• Graphic Design Experience
