We are looking for a Global Digital Merchandising & Content Manager, who will be placed within the E-Commerce team based in Milan. 


This role demands a high level of ownership and autonomy in guiding both strategic and operational initiatives, while simultaneously managing a dedicated team. A comprehensive understanding of Global and European market dynamics is crucial for aligning e-commerce strategies with the overall corporate objectives.


Main activities and responsibilities:


•    Actively contribute to formulating/shaping the e-commerce strategy;
•    Play a pivotal role in internal business update meetings, presenting business outcomes, and action plans both at Global and European level;
•    Manage the analysis of merchandising KPIs and report on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis, identifying opportunities and managing actions accordingly;
•    Identify new opportunities for business growth monitoring the competitor landscape, industry trends, and innovations;
•    Collaborate closely with the Global Retail Merch & Buying team to define the right assortment for e-commerce channels based on sales history, trends and company goals;
•    Be the point of contact for regional teams regarding the merchandising plans and roll-outs;
•    Supervise catalog building and product content production, ensuring timely go-live in alignment with seasonal timelines to meet commercial needs;
•    Roll out all web merchandising activities, including product sorting, on-site search management, cross-selling, and up-selling strategies aligned with precise business goals;
•    Recommend tools for enhanced merchandising and brief the technical team based on identified needs;
•    Support site maintenance and new features development by conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
•    Collaborate closely with Marketing and the Global Retail Merchandising team to shape the e-commerce commercial/editorial calendar;
•    Coordinate the execution of the commercial/editorial calendar throughout HP, PLP, and Editorial pages updates;
•    Develop business cases to foresee the performance/ROI of commercial calendar actions/projects;
•    Work closely with CRM to ensure correct product selection and linking for each communication;
•    Assume daily managerial responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on fostering a learning-centric environment and providing professional mentorship;

Main requirements:


Graduate level education (or equivalent);
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the e-commerce department, either in the same role or a comparable one;
Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal;
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
Expertise knowledge of data visualization tools, particularly Power BI;
Background and proficiency in analytics;

In-depth understanding of the internet landscape and strong business acumen;
Experience with Salesforce would be a plus;
Excellent ability to work under tight deadlines and effectively manage workloads;
Attention to detail and accuracy;
Pro-active, curious, eager to learn person with the ability to adapt to various changes.
