Senior Cost Estimator - Natural Resources

This will be challenging but it’s our responsibility to make it happen together.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Due to significant growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner &amp; Townsend's Natural Resource division is looking for an experienced Estimator. In this role you will: </p><ul><li>Apply first principles estimating in the Energy and Resources sector;</li><li>Prepare capital cost estimates to meet industry standard estimate classification guidelines;</li><li>Apply and efficiently utilise approved work breakdown and cost breakdown structures;</li><li>Support key tendering activities, including preparation of pre-tender estimates;</li><li>Analyse project change and the provision of feedback on areas of risk and opportunities;</li><li>Work collaboratively and seamlessly with all other key project and programme functions such as cost, risk and planning teams;</li><li>Analyse and assess costs and estimates provided by suppliers and contractors;</li><li>Provide process and technical estimating support production of feasibility studies;</li><li>Provide estimating support to manage project budget and scope (Value Engineering).</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>A recognised Degree Qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, MRICS / DACE accreditation or other relevant qualification is ideal</li><li>At least 6+ years relevant estimating work experience in, Energy and Resources sector</li><li>Proficient in the use of CostX, Unifer, Ecosys, PRISM, Candy or other equivalent tools</li><li>Proficient in the use of Excel</li><li>Ability to demonstrate attention to detail</li><li>Team player with the ability to work autonomously</li><li>Excellent command of written and spoken English with report writing skills</li><li>Excellent command of written and spoken Dutch is considered advantageous</li><li>Highly motivated and passionate individual, showing a clear ability to deliver great outcomes for clients</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Our inspiring people share our values, vision, and behaviours.
