Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Entry Level Industrial Security Specialist to join our team located in Mesa, AZ.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs Personnel Security functions to include individual security clearance/access processing, visit processing, and other required reporting.
  • Enters and tracks information in government and proprietary applications.
  • Communicates and assists with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Assists in the protection of government, intellectual, third-party and company information from unauthorized disclosures.
  • Performs administrative support functions.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
  • Experience collaborating and working across teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with National Background Investigation Services (NBIS)
  • Experience with National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM)
  • Experience processing CSSO or CPSO program access paperwork, including SF-86
  • Practical working knowledge of the security clearance adjudicative guidelines
  • Experience in the use of SIMS applications

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).
