Program Manager, Platform Planning

A Typical Day:

Program Management: 

• • Plan, execute, and oversee programs and initiatives aimed at improving business operations and achieving efficiency. 
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budgets, and ensure that all projects align with the organization's objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

• • Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless execution of operations-related projects.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to support Ops needs 

Notes, action items, and follow-up from key meetings

• • Coordinate and attend regular and ad hoc leadership and cross-functional meetings
  • Prepares follow-up communications for meeting attendees including notes, action items, and next steps

Strategic Working Documents and Key Materials Prep

• • Draft cross-functional working documents for major initiatives, key materials for ad hoc projects, and presentations for internal communications, annual planning, and board meetings.
  • Special Projects: One-off cross-functional projects as needed.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track progress, provide insights, and inform decision-making.

Clear communication across the organization 

• • Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels across the organization
  • Provide regular updates, gather feedback and ensure alignment on program goals
  • Ensure that all functions on the team are working towards the same goals

Program Management/Planning Experience

• 8+ years experience working on mid to  large scale programs, responsible for aligning cross functional technical teams on set timelines,  goals and deliverables
• Proven experience driving program and change management within cross functional technical teams in mid to large scale program environments 
• Passionate about leveraging tools to achieve operational excellence 
• Understands and has experience with industry standard project management/software tools such as JIRA, Airtable and Asana and knows what the benefits and downfalls of each are

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
