In this role, you will be a member of our highly reputable project management and control team.

The Project Controls team on this project is responsible for implementing the PMIS and project workflows, as well as managing document, schedule and cost control.

We are currently hiring a Project Controls Manager to support our team out of Nashville, TN. This role will be focused on supporting PMIS implementation and administration on a multi-billion-dollar project for a technology client. In addition, this role may oversee additional PMIS implementations over the Central Region.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform Project Controls Services service offering including but not limited to capital planning, portfolio and project governance, front end planning, project funding, project set up, construction technology, procure to pay, project, cost & commercial managing, schedule control, risk management, project close-out.
  • Participate in the delivery of Portfolios, Programs & projects.
  • Play a lead role in implementing the PMIS system for the program, act as the system administrator, and maintain the system throughout the program's lifecycle.
  • Assist the Controls team in developing program KPI reports using Power BI, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
  • Work closely with clients to effectively set up project systems and coding and communicate the requirements to those providing inputs.
  • Enable effective governance by providing relevant fact-based information including provision of reports.
  • Assist in the smooth operation of the construction technology with a particular focus on ensuring the flow of information to enable efficient execution and control.
  • Forecast and predictively influence the outcomes of project.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Attendance at work during normal business hours.

  • Growing technical competency in many of the project controls service offerings such as Project set up, construction technology, procure to pay, project, cost & commercial managing, schedule control, risk management, project close-out.

  • Ability to read and interpret various documents such as Arch, Civil, Structural, MEP, Geotech, Site Logistics, and Schedules. 
  • Ability to communicate with various stakeholders, internal and external to company. 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently. 
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment. 
  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. 
  • Highly proficient in the use of Excel.
  • Utilize effective written and oral communication skills. 

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience post receiving undergraduate degree working in related
