Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Industrial Engineer to join our Claims Design Team. The Industrial Engineering Senior Consultant acts as a project lead to complete Industrial Engineering projects that focus on optimizing workflows, enhancing operational efficiency, establishing baseline handling times, and improving customer service processes within our Claims organization. The ideal candidate will leverage Industrial Engineering methodologies and data analytics to drive efficiency and improve claim resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Use data-driven techniques to measure current claims handling processes and recommend actionable areas of improvement

• Develop and implement process enhancements using Lean, Six Sigma, and other industrial engineering methodologies.

• Lead intake conversations to ensure stakeholder and consultant needs are identified and intended outcomes are understood.

• Develop clear, well-structured reports, presentations, and process documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Leverage external research, models and practices and applies it internally to bring thought leadership to the organization.

• Integrate subject matter knowledge with industry experience, relevant related disciplines, program/process design principles, and business goals and strategy.

• Analyze ambiguous problems. Breaks down complex information in a systematic and communicable manner.

• Impact department results through innovation and provision of authoritative advice.

• Manage projects and program execution of moderate complexity.

• Develop in-depth ideas and materials, while ensuring understanding of technical matters by non-technical, executive decision makers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.

• Facilitate interviews, focus groups and workshops

Qualifications:

• Industrial Engineering Degree (Preferred)

• 2 or more years of related experience

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $66,800.00 - 120,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
