Position Overview:
As the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in developing, implementing, and overseeing our company's Environmental, Health, Safety and Security program in a very fast-paced environment. You will ensure compliance with regulations, mitigate risks, and promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Help develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide guidance and support to departmental managers and employees on EHS matters.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and environmental conservation.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and drills to effectively respond to accidents, spills, or other emergencies.
- Maintain records and documentation related to EHS activities, including incident reports, training records, and regulatory permits.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in EHS management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the EHS program.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in EHS management or a related role, preferably in manufacturing, R&D, laboratory safety.
You should come with:
- Proven track record of developing and implementing EHS programs that comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits in a corporate environment.
- An ability to gamify safety training to make them fun, entertaining, and engaging!
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, including OSHA, EPA, IEC, NFPA, and other relevant regulatory agencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to rapidly and effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- An ability to think differently to bend and flex to meet the needs of the organization.
