Job Summary

The role of Business Line Marketer is responsible for overseeing the marketing activities and strategies related to a specific product or service line for Nordic. The Business Line Marketer will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic go-to-market plans for a specific line of business with a primary focus on promoting and enhancing the brand and visibility of that particular product or service in the market. The role will also be responsible for managing the tactical operation and integration of all marketing planning and campaigns and must be capable of operating on a strategic and tactical level. The ideal candidate is creative, strategic, and well-versed in the latest trends and best practices across B2B marketing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
  • Develop marketing strategies and plans for the specific product or service line.
  • Set goals and objectives aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Build and maintain a strong brand presence for the product or service.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and communication materials.
  • Define and refine the positioning of the product or service in the market.
  • Create unique selling propositions and value propositions.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote the product or service.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling and effective promotional materials.
  • Work closely with sales, product development, and other relevant teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business goals.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBR) with the Business Lines using consistent dashboards, metrics and ROI.
  • Provide marketing support to sales teams to drive product/service adoption.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget for the specific product or service line.
  • Monitor and optimize marketing expenses to ensure a positive return on investment.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies adjusting as needed.
  • Develop and oversee communication strategies to reach the target audience.
  • Craft messaging and positioning that resonates with the specific market segment.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, to gather feedback and insights.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years working in product or service marketing, preferably for a technology or business services company in healthcare with at least 3 to 5 years focused on product marketing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in planning, creating and optimizing marketing strategies across multiple touchpoints with proper reach and measurement of effectiveness.
  • A history of working with matrixed, cross functional teams within a business unit structure and centralized, global marketing services.
  • Deep knowledge of marketing, B2B marketing, regional, and field media best practices as well as experience creating and developing marketing best practices within an organization.
  • Able to operate on both a strategic and tactical level.
  • Solid working knowledge of health information technology, electronic medical records, enterprise resource management, and managed services.
  • Experience integrating and optimizing programs with other marketing/advertising channels.
  • Excellent time, budget management and project management skills.
  • Strong written communication and speaking skills with the ability to present to various levels.
