We’re on a mission to bring truth to the internet by enabling digital identity verification in a new way. We’re starting by disrupting the antiquated Background Check industry, specifically focused on healthcare credentialing. About the opportunity:We are looking for an energetic Sr Software Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team of highly skilled, dedicated, and efficient developers. 
You will work in a fast-paced environment that is moving together with a common goal to provide the best solutions for our customers in markets desperate for innovation.
Day to day activity as a senior member of the team will be to design and implement solutions that enable the KarmaCheck platform to scale and perform while adding functionality and maintaining our high degree of security. Your knowledge and experience will be leveraged by acting as a mentor and guide to other engineers on the team and your work ethic will shine as you lead by example to continuously improve the product, technology, processes, and culture of the engineering organization
This is a 100% telecommute position with the rare exception of travel for company/team meetings and/or customer engagement.

What you'll do:

• Contribute as part of a cross functional Agile team to build web application features using Javascript/Typescript while meeting coding and security best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers  and designers to understand user needs and translate wireframes and other requirements into technical requirements and detailed architecture.
• Evaluate new frontend technologies and methodologies with an eye toward scalability and performance.
• Design and build software with an eye towards modular, extensible, and scalable design.
• Actively participate in technical product development sessions with other members of the Product and Engineering organization.
• Enhance existing development processes with best practices for continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
• Act as a technical solution advisor to engineering and product management 
• Participate in production deployments.
• Troubleshoot production runtime issues that may arise throughout the entire system.
• Measure the effectiveness of new features, find and address performance issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in electronic communication channels on a constant basis as part of your daily work.

Requirements:

• 7+ years design and development (frontend and/or full stack)
• 5+ years Javascript experience 
• 5+ years experience with modern frontend frameworks (Vue, React, Angular, etc)
• You speak HTML and CSS  fluently and know how to build around browser limitations
• Experience working as the lead developer on any front end application
• Experience with frontend build and packaging tools like Vite, Rollup, Webpack
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities as is common in a startup environment
• Must be super detail oriented and have a passion for building GREAT software

• You have experience working in AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Cloudwatch, RDS, etc)
