Shipping & Receiving - Forklift Operator - $20

Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with a Lancaster manufacturing company, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving, Scale Operator, Forklift Operator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the loading and unloading of products while ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes. Your ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently will play a crucial role in maintaining warehouse operations.

Wage: $21-22 per hour; based on experience

Shift: 1st shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
• Scale Operator - weigh and document materials on a scale
• Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing them to shipping documents.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory levels.
• Organize products and materials in the warehouse and ensure proper storage.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and warehouse policies.
• Assist with inventory management and regular stock checks.
• Keep the work area clean and free of hazards.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a forklift operator in a shipping and receiving environment.
• Solid computer skills required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) consistently.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
