Responsibilities

Applies knowledge of the Onsite Food Safety and Quality Operations area to ensure achievement of key area goals and objectives. May mentor and/or manage talent to ensure tasks, processes, and projects are completed in an accurate and timely manner, providing direction or support as needed. Independently resolves complex problems without clear precedents, requiring extensive investigation and analysis. Responsible for in-process and final product quality analyses/inspection in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements, interpreting and evaluating the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision against established specifications.

  • Develops, reviews, and implements quality assurance policies and procedures related to food safety, ensuringthey align with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Resolves recurring quality issues to improve product safety and freshness.
  • Leads the development of food safety policies and training programs.
  • Reviews reports for management that highlight trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensures production processes meet corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Responsible for driving operational aspects of their teams (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), as well as implementing workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.
  • Oversees the execution of key area processes and initiatives, ensuring methods align with the overall functional and business strategy, exercising flexibility to adapt plans as needed, and mentoring colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
  • Influencing stakeholders and applying advanced knowledge to drive achievement of area goals and initiatives
  • May mentor and/or oversee associates to guide effective team performance and development.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree +10-years’ experience in Food or Beverage Industry or related Field
  • Experience with GFSI Schematics (FSSC 22000, BRC, GFS, GRMS, etc.)
  • Proficient in sanitation procedures and GMP/AIB requirements in a manufacturing settin
  • Direct people leadership experience (2-years’ minimum)
  • Quality Management System (QMS)
