The Director of Supply Chain & Planning is a strategic leader responsible for designing and executing the planning strategy that drives availability, service, and cost performance across the end-to-end supply chain. This role oversees key functions including inventory planning, supply planning, fulfillment, and logistics alignment. The Director is instrumental in shaping long-term operational capabilities, influencing capital planning, and ensuring synchronization across departments to meet enterprise goals.
This position plays a central role in leading S&OP processes, forecasting supply chain performance, and driving network-wide planning discipline. It combines strategic oversight with hands-on problem solving, ensuring the business is agile, efficient, and customer focused.
Pay Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Location: Fresno, CA
Travel Requirements: 10%

Responsibilities:
- Supports the mission, values and vision of the company.
- Maintains the best interest of Lyons Magnus first and foremost.
- Set the long-term vision and roadmap for supply planning and fulfillment across internal and external operations.
- Own and evolve the integrated supply planning process, balancing service levels, inventory investment, and cost-to-serve.
- Translate business objectives into actionable planning strategies, aligning with sales, operations, procurement, and finance.
- Lead forecasting for supply, inventory, and capacity across the network, contributing to company financial planning and budgeting cycles.
- Partner with Finance to build accurate supply chain budgets, including inventory targets, logistics spend, and capacity investment.
- Drive scenario planning and what-if analysis to support executive decision-making and risk mitigation.
- Establish enterprise-wide inventory targets, replenishment strategies, and policies to ensure availability and working capital efficiency.
- Monitor inventory performance and implement programs to improve inventory turns, reduce obsolescence, and align with customer requirements.
- Provide executive-level insight into inventory health and its impact on financial performance.
- Ensure alignment between production output, inventory positioning, and customer delivery requirements.
- Guide fulfillment strategies that balance lead times, order cycle times, and transportation costs.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure supply readiness supports outbound efficiency and service KPIs.
- Contribute to the design and evolution of the company’s supply chain network, including footprint, sourcing, and fulfillment models.
- Support capacity planning and investment recommendations based on forecasted demand and production capabilities.
- Influence system architecture, planning tools, and digital roadmap to enhance planning agility and performance visibility.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of ERP and advanced planning systems (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, o9, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage planning processes in complex manufacturing environments.
- Proven success in balancing service, cost, and inventory objectives.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in food & beverage, CPG, or other short shelf-life or fast-turn industries.
- Exposure to co-manufacturing, network planning, and working across multiple manufacturing or distribution sites.
- Familiarity with S&OP / IBP processes and tools.
