Our company is growing rapidly and we are currently in search of providers to help our growing families! We are looking for an experienced provider who is passionate about caring for patients and treating their medical needs. You will perform exams and procedures, counsel patients, and treat patients throughout their lifetime.

Education: Registered Nurse or Registered/Certified Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of three to five years of previous supervisory and/or administrative experience required. (Masters Level training preferred). 7-10 years of progressive managerial experience in a social service, health, or business environment. Minimum 5 years' experience developing, implementing and maintaining quality management systems that encompass quality & performance improvement & quality assurance activities & compliance. Experience with NCQA accreditation & Medicaid are preferred. Prior equivalent expertise in performance improvement, including statistical analysis, information systems & outcome measurement is considered a plus. Demonstrates knowledge in cultural sensitivity.

Salary:

$77,000.00 - $115,000

Hours of operation:

Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.

Benefits:

Summary: The Director of Nursing (DON) will report to the CMO and provide leadership and management of an organization wide quality and Performance Improvement system. The DON is required to effectively work collaboratively across the organization to develop strategies that support the mission and facilitate continual improvement in quality, compliance, and performance. The DON is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing performance improvement systems that integrate quality practices in the organization. The DON is required to consult with the administrative team, department managers, and other staff on quality issues. Identification of the best methods to reduce risk is an important role played by The DON. The DON will collect, trend and analyze aggregate data to be used in identifying best practices and performance improvement efforts within VHCS. Will assist with or may lead, design, or initiate special projects which are coordinated and directed by the CEO or CMO. Will ensure health care practices meet professional quality assurance standards of VHCS and applicable regulatory agencies. Serves on the QI Committee, Risk Management and Compliance Committee to assist with quality assurance, Risk Management and compliance functions; Evaluates compliance for patient satisfaction, protocol compliance, and consistent standards of care. Understands HIPAA and NCQA requirements and conducts clinical/business processes that ensure patient privacy as a priority; is self-directed and motivated, exhibiting independence in function and judgment.

Requirements
