In this vital role the CDnA – Global Obesity, Commercial Analytics Senior Manager will lead insights generation by integrating multitude of secondary data sources and engaging several cross-functional partners to develop a comprehensive understanding of the obesity market, market performance, and provide strategic recommendations. The ability to clearly present/communicate findings and recommendations to Senior Leadership is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop positive relationships while working cross functionally with marketing, finance, the broader CD&A team, and other partners to develop and communicate assumptions based on secondary data analysis and partner input
Provide senior leadership with an objective and rigorous perspective on secondary data analytics and performance management
Lead the production and interpretation of data for standard reports (e.ad hoc analytics, monthly tracking, etc.)
With limited supervision, provide analytical support to the cross-functional team supporting general medicine
Prepare, interpret and present analyses on specific business objectives and in preparation for ad hoc “investigative” requests
Ensure applicable legal and regulatory compliance SOPs are understood by and adhered to by yourself, vendors, and product teams
Be a great partner with external vendors and consultants to enable effective and efficient project completion
Demonstrate ownership of relevant general medicine data sets, encouraging confidence in the data through a clear understanding of data collection methods, business rules and caveats
Improve the capabilities of the Commercial Insights team by researching and implementing new analytical tools, methodologies, internal and external best practices, new data sources, etc.
Flexible Commuter role to Thousand Oaks, US Headquarter site. Work will be on-site for a minimum of 2 days each week.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of primary market research, management consulting and/or strategic insights generation experience
Or
Master’s degree and 4 years of primary market research, management consulting and/or strategic insights generation experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of primary market research, management consulting and/or strategic insights generation experience
Or
Associate’s degree and 10 years of primary market research, management consulting and/or strategic insights generation experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of primary market research, management consulting and/or strategic insights generation experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to independently extract, evaluate and synthesize data and information from a variety of sources with rigor and accuracy
Strong knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem and drug commercialization
Experience leading primary market research
Ability to think strategically, provide actionable recommendations, and influence key decisions
Ability to work collaboratively and adaptively in team-based, cross-functional environments
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences, including senior management
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects in parallel
Experience with commonly used biopharmaceutical industry datasets and databases
