We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our dynamic R&D organization and drive the success of large, strategic cross-functional programs that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Role Overview

As a Senior Program Manager at 8x8, you will be responsible for operationalizing and delivering critical programs that align with our strategic OKRs. This role focuses on defining program scope in collaboration with Product Managers and R&D leaders, establishing ROI, managing risks, and ensuring successful delivery. You will work closely with technical project managers who plan and execute the individual projects necessary for program success, while you maintain a strategic focus on program outcomes and alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Definition & Strategy: Collaborate with Product Managers and senior leaders to define program scope, objectives, and ROI. Ensure that each program contributes meaningfully to our strategic OKRs.

• Program Planning: Develop comprehensive program plans that include milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with teams across the organization to align efforts, manage dependencies, and resolve roadblocks to ensure program success.

• Risk Management: Identify and proactively manage risks and impediments, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.

• Executive Reporting: Provide clear, concise, and impactful reporting on program progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

• Collaboration with Technical Project Managers: Work closely with technical project managers to ensure their detailed project plans align with overall program goals and timelines.

• Outcome-Oriented Execution: Drive programs to successful completion, ensuring they deliver the intended business outcomes and value.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Program/Project Management, with a focus on leading large, complex, cross-functional programs.

• Proven ability to deliver programs that align with strategic business goals and drive measurable outcomes.

• Strong expertise in program planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

• Demonstrated experience working with Product Managers and technical teams to define scope, objectives, and ROI.

• Exceptional business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable program plans.
